Good, I think.,
This review is from: Happy Beds Ortho Super King Orthopedic Mattress, 5 ft (Kitchen & Home)
I've just got this and have only had a single nights sleep on it. So far I'm really pleased, its of a very sturdy construction and needs to be with my somewhat flimsy new bed frame.
I was a little worried that the mattress was too firm at first, but after a fair bit of twisting and turning to adjust to a mattress that does not stab me in my ribs and kidneys, I settled down into the best nights sleep(at home) that I've had in a least three years. I sometimes suffer with a bad back and woke with no pain whatsoever anywhere, very nice.
I was so worried about buying a mattress, the more reviews I read the more I started to wonder if any budget priced mattress was worth buying. Thankfully this seems to far exceed my best hopes. I will update this review to say how well its lasting after more thorough use, but again I'm optimistic and will give it the full five stars if it stays good!
Lastly I'd much rather get a mattress that tends toward being overly firm. You can soften it with a topper but you can't easily add firmness to an overly soft mattress. Just a thought to consider when buying.
Update : We have had this a while now and so far we are, on the whole, getting a good nights sleep on it. There is the occasional spring noise from somewhere within it but this is, for the moment, far from frequent. It does however make me wonder a little about its long term life span. I would still give it four stars as, for the price, I believe it to be about as good as you are likely to get. You would probably have to spend two to three times this amount to possibly get something better.
