A Great Little Project,
This review is from: Make Your Own Working Paper Clock (Paperback)I discovered this book while browsing the paper model books of amazon and decided that I had to have a go.
So far I have been pleasantly surprised with how simple and straight forward the building is. Each peice is numbered and each tab has a letter then it is a simple case of lining up the tabs on the numbered spots. For example tab 'a' on piece 2 should be glued to the spot marked 2a, tab 'g' on piece 6 should be glued to the spot marked 6g and so on.
There are drawings of some of the more intricate parts, to give you an idea of what you are trying to achieve and several pages of hints and tips on the best way to achieve the best results.
It is a slow process, not something that can be done in an evening as each piece needs to be allowed to dry before continuing but there are various 'batches' of pieces that can be glued and left to dry.
I have yet to finish it but so far it is looking good and I am very confident that it will work out well! I would reccommend it as i am really enjoying it and it is making a great little project to while away the hours..
