Does what it says on the tin,
This review is from: Martin Polish (Electronics)
After reading numerous reviews on the internet slating this product, I worried about the quality I would recieve. This polish, if applied correctly will not gunk up your acoustic guitar.
First and foremost, you should give your guitar a good dust, this product is not designed to remove dust, applying to a really dusty guitar will result in gunking.. I mean come on use your head. This product is made to remove built up residues of sweat etc, while replenishing oils to the wood to protect your guitar.
It should be applied sparingly to a soft cloth, then rubbed in circular motions over the body of your guitar. Next use another clean cloth, to remove any excess, in a similar manner softly rubbing in circular motions.
On the back it mentions two ingredients,(White Mineral Oil and Processed Castor Oil)having no mention of Silicone which is allegedly bad for wood. I do not own a lacquered guitar so cannot vouch for its effects on such. However, it has made my hand rubbed martin's body smooth and clean.
A bottle this size should last a lifetime as polishing shouldnt be done regularly.
