Not the best quilting book I've read,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Quilt Improv: Incredible quilts from everyday inspirations (Paperback)
This book includes lots of very nice images and interesting project ideas. However, it's let down by poor instructions for some of the projects, which is a shame as the end products look very nice, but are hard to achieve except by very experienced quilters. It's inspiring, but also frustrating and rather a disappointment.

I'm a beginner and don't find these projects a huge challenge in any way. It would have been nice to know what you find frustrating and what is a disappointment, because as they are now, your two stars don't help others one bit. I recently reviewed a book at three stars because I felt generous that day, but it might as well have received two only and then I peppered my review with a long list of all the negative feedback I thought backed up my assessment. The book deserved it all, seeing as it contained lots of errors etc. I feel your two stars are given on quite different grounds than mine.
