Excellent printer, excellent quality

This review is from: LaserJet Pro 200 Color M276n All-in-One Printer (Accessory)
I have always had HP printers for their quality and this is no exception.
I was upgrading from a second-hand colour laser which had been used with refill toner and leaked all over, something I would never do personally. I had given up on inkjets because I do not print often enough to keep the ink from drying up or going off.
This printer may be expensive to buy initially in comparison, with expensive toner to replace, but for the quality and reliability its good value. The new toners also have a higher wax content than older ones which means they smell less of ozone when you use them and have a much nicer shiny quality to the prints. Photos come out excellent, not photo quality like inkjets on fancy paper, but far better than inkjets on plain cheap paper. This something often forgotten about cost per page, you have to factor in the cost of the paper which when wanting to print photos on an inkjet you need to use expensive paper for it to come out well.
Overall, I am very pleased with this printer. It performs exactly as I had hoped. Some reviews say its noisy or slow, but clearly they aren't coming from much older models as its quiet and fast compared to those. Being able to scan straight to a network drive is extremely useful, my only complaint would be that it only scans in jpeg that way (or if you scan multiple pages using the document feeder, a PDF with multiple jpegs embedded in it). I would prefer to scan to PNG, but you would have to use a PC to do that. That is a small complaint however.
Another thing to note, according to the printer I have used a LOT of toner already which can come across as alarming. However according to many other reviews this is just HP being paranoid on quality as once it reaches low toner you get a LOT more prints out of it than predicted. Obviously I cannot verify that myself yet, but its worth noting before panicking.
Oh and, ALWAYS USE OFFICIAL HP TONER! I know others are cheaper, but I wouldn't trust their quality. They can wear out the printer quicker, and if they leak TONER IS HIGHLY TOXIC. So few people seem to realise, toner is so small it CAN be absorbed by your skin and is VERY harmful if you breath it in. Once its fused its fine, but leaking cartridges (never known it happen with official brand new HP ones) are very dangerous. Its just not worth the risk to the printer or your health to save a few quid.
