Not bad, not brilliant,

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Skullcandy have been selling fashion headphones for a few years now, and you're buying them as much for their looks and the Skullcandy brand name as much as anything else.
Whether you like the big bulky cans on these things is down to personal taste (I didn't, they stick out miles from your head! There are better looking Skullcandy headphones than these), but sound-wise these Hesh 2.0's are about what you'd expect for a pair of fashion headphones at this price range - they're not bad (definitely better than the bog standard phones supplied with most mp3 players) but they're not brilliant either.
Sound-wise they're certainly no match for the cheaper Sennheiser HD202's, which sound richer and bassier. So if you're basing your choice purely on sound then buy HD202's instead. Having said that, of course, NOBODY buys HD202's for their looks, and their 3 metre long cable would be a nightmare in the street.
So if you're after a pair of headphones that sound good rather than brilliant, look okay, are fairly comfortable, or have Skullcandy stamped on them, then you won't go far wrong with these - and the detachable cable is a nice touch as it means you won't break these headphones if you accidentally snag the cable.
