I LOVE this pushchair. I have 2 young dogs who need walking every day and this pushchair has made a huge difference. I can confidently go on rough paths through woodland, along riverside tracks and over paths through fields. The only limiting factor now is stiles and gates! It seems to be well constructed and has some nice safety fixings when you unfold it to help secure it - reassuring over bumpy ground, just don't forget them when you are trying to fold it (embarassing!). The front wheel is quick-release like you find on most bikes and the rear wheels pop off when you hold back a lever - easy but secure. The hood is large and easy to pull out and has these great zip pockets along each side - great for keys, phone etc and big enough for a drink, spare muslin etc. The pocket underneath is not as big as a proper shopping basket obviously, but it has a sensible drawcord and I can fit a small change bag and a lunch cooler (picnic!) in it, no worries. The seat reclines fully and the window is in a really good position to see babies' head, so great with a newborn. The recline is controlled by a strap and a sort of crocodile clip. I wasn't sure how secure it would be, compared to ones which have a proper 'click-in' setting for the seat, but actually it's fine - my 2 going-on 3 year old is well supported in it. I bought a Phil & teds cocoon for the newborn but at 6 weeks old we probably don't need it anymore. I think just a head support on its own, or possibly just a fleece liner would have been fine but my baby is quite big. Finally, when folded, I've been really surprised by how small it is - I have a small car (polo/ibiza/fiesta size) and I can easily fit it in the boot - with the wheels off I can put it upright and the dogs even fit next to it - although I'd only do this for a short journey. I originally got a babystyle Oyster and I don't think this is any bigger folded, although it is longer and slightly wider unfolded. I've bought maxi-cosi adaptors now and it has really become my main pushchair. I only use the Oyster for shopping trips where I don't want the faff with the wheels.
Totally love this pushchair and would definitely recommend it.
No idea why I didn't get this before.
