Getting It Right (Mostly),
This review is from: Teachers 3 - A New Term (Audio CD)
Whilst watching teachers I have often found myself surprised at the choice of soundtrack, and even more so at how well they work. So when the soundtrack for series three came out, I went and bought it. To be honest, it wasn't exactly money well spent. The music works together better on the programme itself rather than on cd, track after track after track. Strong points on the record include The Libertines (of course) with 'Up the bracket', Idlewild's 'A modern way of letting go', The Donnas 'Take it off', and at a push The Vines 'Get free'. There are the classic indie dirges that come with any record of this type, and a few surprises too. Not much of a surprise if you watch the show, of course. All in all, not bad, just a few unwise choices.
