I bought these for use in my Apple wireless keyboard. I chose them because of the long battery life implied by the "2900 mAh" in the title.
The batteries work just about acceptably, butthey don't hold their charge - so there's no point in recharging them more than a couple of days before using them - and, fresh from the charger, my Mac shows them as having 67% charge (by way of contrast, another brand of rechargeable - see my other reviews - shows 90% - I've never seen more than this). The keyboard gets through the pair of batteries in about 3 weeks.
So, sorry but these are disappointing.

The issue with the batteries showing no more than 90% is down to the voltage Ni-MH batteries are 1.2 where as normal alkaline are 1.5 so in general I would expect to see a Ni-MH showing around 80% on voltage alone (the 90% you have been getting is probably allowing for some degree of error in the Mac software). I am sure there are some physics buffs out there that could provide a better explanation.
Personally for low drain devices like keyboards I have found good quality duracells or energizers preferable as thy are better suited to this use however I see the financial benefits of rechargeables especially with the increased mAh times that we are now getting.

For low drain devices such as wireless keyboards and mice, TV remotes, clocks etc. you need to use LSD (Low Self Discharge) batteries. (usually marketed as 'Pre-charged'), These batteries hold their charge over a long period of time. Normal rechargeable batteries lose an extra 2-5% of their charge per day, even when not in use. With LSD batteries, this would only be about 0.05%! The only downside to LSD batteries is they have a slightly lower mAh capacity (2000-2500mAh).
