1.0 out of 5 stars What a disappointment, 15 Mar 2012
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Mass Effect 3 (Xbox 360) (Video Game)
Well I must say I was certainly eager to play this game after really enjoying the previous two,but after completing it I feel disappointed and utterly cheated by the developer especially after having invested so much in ME 1 and ME 2,now with this game your decisions no longer make any difference so it's hardly worth importing your character from the earlier games, you can't even use their likeness and have to recreate their face all over again, the scale of the game has seriously be dumbed down, with far less star systems on the galaxy map and only one city to visit, some rescue missions don't even involve going to the planet and only involve scanning and sending down a probe, dialogue options are more basic with less choice, the graphics are at times very bad and it has a really crap ending,it's also much shorter than the other games in the series,I am sure this game would appeal more to the COD fans out there who probably haven't played the first two games and prefer all out action, but to any Mass Effect fan this game is seriously lacking.

Catmandu says:
Karl, you can import your face....eventually. But as of writing, the only way to do it is to download two or three bits of software to your PC (if you have one!), put your ME2 save on a USB stick, import it to your PC, upload it to a fan site, then you get a face code which you can enter into ME3 at character import time! Yeah, it is as convoluted and time consuming as that sentence implies!

For the life of me, I cannot see how this glitch did not show up in game testing. It's like buying a car and finding out it has no steering wheel!

Sorry that's way over my head,I have a PPC mac,but aren't very technical computer wise,I have tried importing different characters 3 times and it never works on xbox, but as you can do a lot of mods on a PC I believe you.
