Witty and fun,
This review is from: Chocolate, Lies, and Murder (Amber Fox Mysteries book #4) (Kindle Edition)
I have read all of the books in the Amber Fox mystery series so far, and enjoyed them. This is the fourth book, and although it is possible to read the books as standalones, I do think that they are more enjoyable read in order. I've also found that the series just gets better with each new addition.
Amber is on the verge of marriage to Brad when an ex-girlfriend of his hires him as a body guard. Amber tries to control her jealousy and no one really takes the threats to Aleesha seriously, believing it to be a publicity stunt, until things take a nasty turn and Brad is arrested. Now Amber is trying to clear his name.
This is a mixture of chick lit, humour and mystery. I love the character of Amber, who is feisty and witty. Brad is gorgeous (of course) and there are also some great characters who work with them, Tia and Hacker. Amber's parents are fun and I enjoyed reading about them taking part in solving the mystery. I found the book to be fun, and enjoyable, with enough mystery to keep me guessing until the end.
I was given a review copy of this book but this review is an honest reflection of my opinion.
