This review is from: Audioslave (Audio CD)
Most people bought this album on the basis of being a fan of either RATM or Soundgarden or possibly both, however comparisons with these bands are pointless since with Audioslave both Cornell and the Rage boys push the music in a completely different direction to either of these classic bands. This may be seen as a bad thing, trust me it is not, from the storming opening of Cochise through to the hauntingly beatiful The Last Remaining Light via such works of genius as Like A Stone and I Am The Highway there is not a down moment on this album.
To fellow fans of Soundgarden I would whole-heartedly recommend this album, likewise to Rage addicts (though don't go expecting any political agenda).
