All expense spared.,
This review is from: Hancock's Half Hour The 'Lost' Radio Episodes: Sid James's Dad & The Diet (Audio CD)
It has on the rear sleeve of this CD, the usual warning for this type of product: " due to the archive and off-air nature of some of the source material, the sound quality may vary". The sound quality does not vary. It is atrocious through both episodes. The only variance is the clumsy way the theme tune, introductions and links have been taken from better recordings and shoehorned in, merely highlighting how it should sound. It would appear that all expense has been spared in producing this release. I have all the other Hancock episodes on CD and never tire of listening to them but doubt if I will listen to this one again. There is hopefully going to be a book published in 2010 with the scripts for lost episodes. I hope these two episodes are included so I can hear some of the dialogue.
