Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard (Personal Computers)
Firstly, I like this keyboard. I recently bought it as a replacement for my old Microsoft sidewinder X6 (which I'd by again if it were still in production and had blue LED's) and first impressions are great, the pictures on here don't really do it justice however, it looks much smarter in real life. It feels comfortable to type with but may require some getting used to or a wrist rest for long periods of use. also a point to note is how quiet the keystrokes are and the G-Series key profiler software is really good to use.
the only downside i can see thus far is that the back lighting is pretty dim during the day (I didn't even know it was on) but at night with quite bright lamp light you do notice it. secondly the cable runners underneath the keyboard designed to house wires running from the USB port don't have a clasp or anything to hold wires in, the wire just sits there and if the keyboard is lifted up they fall out which is a little annoying but not a broken feature really.
Aside the two minor points (and they are very minor indeed) this is an excellent keyboard (if you have a sidewinder and need to replace it, you'll not be disappointed with it).
to summarise then:
- Good looking keyboard
- value for money
- enough keys for additional functions and macros
- Blue or Red back lights!
- Not very bright lighting
- cable tidy is a bit naff
(Games keyboard used for are World of Warcraft and command and conquer red alert 3 mostly (plus others older than these))
