Braun this way,
This review is from: Braun Series 3 380s-4 Rechargeable Wet & Dry Foil Electric Shaver (Personal Care)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)"The Series 3 is specifically designed for guys who don't want to compromise." That's what it says in the blurb above. This can't be wholly true when you take into account the more luxurious and expensive Series 5 and 7 lines from Braun. You are compromising your manliness by opting for a cheaper model, I suppose, but when it comes to the shave, you're compromising very little if anything with this shaver. The Series 3 has always produced an effective, reliable shave and this latest model of the 380s is no different. Literally no different to the casual observer beyond a modest aesthetic tinkering that makes it look slightly cooler than last year's release.
There may well be brand new additions which allege to make your shaving experience sweeter, but the truth is, there wasn't much to fix and the only thing that could be fixed - the ability to get rid of those pesky, stubborn flecks of stubble under the chin of each and every man - hasn't been. When that happens, we can talk about the arrival of the next gen and the death of the wet shave. Although, obviously you can take this Braun under the shower with you, which constitutes a wet shave.
So, yes, a great shaver is still a great shaver after its latest round of plastic surgery. There's no need to upgrade if your previous Series 3 380s is still going strong, which it should be. There SHOULD be a reason to upgrade, though, otherwise what's the point in bringing out a new one every year? The Series 3 man is made to compromise his desire to have the newest model of every gadget possible. He can console himself with a quick shave that produces an uncompromising finish to his morning face.
