This review is from: All Change: Cazalet Chronicles Book 5 (The Cazalet Chronicle) (Kindle Edition)
This is an addition to the existing quartet, after some years. I enjoyed the book but not quite as much as the original series; Howard's style of story-telling has changed slightly, perhaps recognising that readers unfamiliar with the characters would be attracted to the story. Previously the reader was expected to concentrate and work out which character was speaking at the start of each section, but now the principal characters in each section are identified in a heading. While this does make for an easier read, some of the feel of the earlier volumes has been lost. Apart from that, the author deals masterfully with the underlying theme of changing times. Several threads of the story are left hanging, so while I suspect that this will be the last of the series, who knows!
