Guardians of Being,
This review is from: Guardians of Being (Hardcover)
We could learn a lot from our pets. Cats can spend hours perfectly relaxed in the warmth of a beam of light. Dogs are always fully present when they play. Cats and dogs live in the moment and are always fully present. They don't doubt themselves or question their value. It is for this reason that they are the Guardians of Being.
Guardians of Being is written by Eckhart Tolle, author of The Power of Now and A New Earth. His words are then accompanied by illustrations by Mutts creator Patrick McDonnell. It's a wonderful combination, creating a comic book look with real meaning. No doubt readers will find a variety of pages that resonate and inspire them.

Ms Maria J. Durge says:
I am going through some very difficult times in my life at this moment in time, it is New Years Eve and I have never felt such loneliness, I have 3 daughters whom I have had a mega rows with on Thursday just gone. It has been awful for me since Thursday infact it has been awful for me over the entire Christmas holiday period because I have been on my own over the entire period. I am severely disabled but presently I have developed terrible chest pains and laboured breathing! After ringing NHS Direct I was advised to ring 999 and go straight to hospital. But because of the rows between me and my daughters I have not done this. I was told my my very dear friend who texted me the titles of the Power is Now and the Stillness Speaks books, she has told me to get these books as they will become a valuable tool in what I am experiencing presently. But for some reason I was steered to this book Guardians of Being, after reading this feedback and me having 3 cats I felt this was the book I need to get me through my problems. Thank you for this feedback, it has been most helpful for me. Kind Regards Marie X

Tami Brady says:
The book will warm your heart but it can not replace medical care. Get medical care first then seek out complementary resources.
