This is a really good read; it's based around contemporary reports about England since the team was formed, up to Euro 2012. There's some fascinating/funny/moving material in here. The reports on Berlin 1938 and the Munich disaster are very evocative. The best piece is probably the 1966 report: a really spine-tingling piece of writing. Much recommended short read.
