Inspiring and accessible,
This review is from: Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis: An Evidence-Based Guide to Recovery (Paperback)
I am new to the scary world of MS. Not interested in reading about which is the best wheelchair or incontinence pad on the market. I want positive, inspirational, realistic and attainable..... This book delivers.

Hi there Samd! I urge you to take a look at the work of Dr John McDougall in relation to MS (and many other diseases common in the West). He really does have an answer to this terrible disease - and it's free! Yes, it is the food. A low fat vegan diet has been shown to offer the best chance of halting the progression of MS. Please check out these links. The last link is to an excellent lecture by Dr Mcdougall. Best Wishes. Joe Baker. London

An other very good book is Minding My Mitochondria by Terry L. Wahls, M.D. How I overcame my secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (MS) and got out of my wheelchair.
Not only that, this lady now cycles several miles to work and back each day. Not cheap ( £25.00 appx.) but worth it
