what a waste of talent,
This review is from: Red [DVD] (DVD)The film itself is very tongue in cheek, and does not tax the viewer too much. Just a shame to see some fantastic talent taking the big pay off from the studio. A daft film that is forgotten before you take it out of the DVD player.

Matt Williamson says:
Have to respectfully disagree - I saw this when it first came out on dvd and even only seeing it the once, I can remember the majority of the film without too much of a stuggle, and I have seen ALOT of films since this. I personally found it quite amusing and entertaining enough, with fun performances all around, and has been one of the more memorable movies of recent years.
I don't think this is must-see best film of the decade list or anything, but think it certainly has enough going for it for at least a solid rental, and think alot of the charm to me at least is the actors look like they're having fun doing it, rather than just a pay-off movie.
