A really great read,

One of the few books I have read where I don't want it to end. Such an absorbing, realistic story. Evocative of rural west Wales one could almost smell it and feel it. Two periods of time neatly interwoven and so cleverly crafted that one almost doesn't notice; with characters made lifelike but without the cumbersome long drawn out descriptions so often used by lesser authors.
My only criticism is with the Welsh place names used, especially Penbryn where I holidayed for ten years and which while boasting a beautiful beach does not have shops or even a pub as far as I remember. I wish a different (? invented) name had been used as I found it disconcerting. Otherwise well done - when does the next book come out?
