This review is from: Babi Yar (Paperback)
Some years ago I read the book Babi Yar. It was an intense
book, one I had trouble setting down. The horror those people
suffered under the ruthless Nazi invasion of Kiev, described by
the author, left a permanent image on my brain. One such inncident was about a young Jewish boy of about 10, who entered
one of the buildings the Nazis had occupied, searching for a
scrap of bread they might have left.
This book was POWERFUL, and I only wish I could find this
book today. I`m regretful I didn`t purchase the book back then.
It was a book I had rented at the public Library.
