This review is from: The Blame Game: How the Hidden Rules of Credit and Blame Determine Our Success or Failure (Hardcover)
This is a great book as it is very practical and easy to read. Firstly it will give you a good understanding of some of the basics of organisational psychology in a fun way that uses both historic examples and contemporary organisations. Secondly chapter 6 is a wake up call for all those who occupy leadership positions in organisations. It is about leaders taking responsibility both for successes and mistakes! The best example is Ursula Burns CEO of Xerox. Lastly, the final chapter is a good action plan for all of us that want to be better leeaders/managers.
In short one of the best leadership books that is currently available and very well researched.
