Thirty years on,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Praxis (Paperback)
From these reviews, it's clear that people who first read this book in their teens still remember it today. Praxis Duveen is both feminist heroine and Very Bad Example. Her occasional triumphs over her tormentors are brutal, and in later life, it's clear that she is proud to be the product of her experiences.
From the very first page, you'll be shocked by what happens to Praxis. You'll also be dangerously inspired by how she overcomes her difficulties.
Take control, and read the book, sister.

Ms J. Scott says:
I am always deeply suspicious of any review that ends 'take control and read the book, sister' as though we are in some elite fraternity. If the book is that revealing then surely we shouldn't limit it read to the 'sisterhood'?
