This review is from: LEGO Games 3835 Robo Champ (Toy)
I bought Robochamp for my 7 year old autistic son and he LOVES it, as do his 12 year old brother and his Dad and I. We play it more than Pirate Plank (also good) and Monster 4 (requires more tactics but even this one my 7 year old gets). I'm not going to repeat how the game is played as it's been explained in the reviews, but I'd like to add that while the game is very simple and easy to understand, it does involve some tactics when you get the choice of taking a piece from the scrapheap or taking/stealing a body part from another player. My 7 year old easily got this and is making some smart moves, like taking a piece away from someone who almost has a full robot built instead of taking a piece that he might need, buying himself some more time. The only downside, as I've seen mentioned here before, is that you can play it with maximum 3 people. All-in-all I would definitely recommend it for kids as of 5 years old.
