This review is from: Great British Bake Off: Everyday: Over 100 Foolproof Bakes (Hardcover)
I have bought and enjoyed the previous books in connection with bake off and this one does not disappoint. There are lots of super recipes which will certainly make you pile on the pounds. Just of couple of minor points - a fair number of the recipes do not have photos and for me that is a bit disappointing as I find it helpful to see what I am trying to make! There are some recipes from Mary and Paul plus some from the bakers but the majority are from the book's author Linda Collister which some people may find a bit misleading. However I still really like the book and will be attempting Paul's egg custard tarts this weekend!

About the Author
(FROM THE PRODUCT LISTING:)
Linda Collister knows how to bake - she trained at L'Ecole de Cuisine La Varenne in Paris and Le Cordon Bleu in London, and is the author of The Great British Bake Off: How to Bake (the perfect book for beginner bakers), How to Turn Everyday Bakes into Showstoppers (simple, clever baking to impress) and Learn to Bake (easy baking for kids).
Very clearly say's who the Author is, easy to locate on Listing, here is no absolute cook book on the Market, that show's photo's on every recipe & such step-by-step, any anyway it's not about how it look's entirely, it doesn't have to be picture perfect & an exact duplication surely?? Many people change tray's / pan's & put there twist on thing's too. Using your imagination & developing one's own take on a recipe, often produce's an even better result! The Author inspired the series', not the other way around.

Whilst respecting your comments I do think the 'Great British Bake Off' title suggests in the minds of most people Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood and I certainly bought the book on that basis - just wanted to point that minor point out to people as I had never heard of Linda Collister. Certainly does not detract from the book and by the way I made the egg custard tarts mentioned in my review and they came out perfectly!
