I may be mising something...but...,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Elvis Presley: 15 Original Albums (Audio CD)
...I don't think I am. There are supposed to be 15 albums here on 10 CDs, all I can see is 10 albums on 10 CDs plus bonus tracks on each. I know it's cheap, but I expected a tad more in the design department. Each card sleeve shows a (very poorly) printed picture of the respective album cover - 'GI Blues' looks like a very pixellated photocopy - and they don't even bother to name each album as every sleeve just says 'Elvis Presley & Bonus Tracks' next to the picture of the album sleeve, you have to check the reverse for the album title if it isn't obvious on the picture of the sleeve itself. Worst of all is the fact five albums are missing, despite the fact the sparse notes on the back of the box says '...from his first releases on SUN to the album '50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong'..there's no sign of '50,000,000 Elvis fans...' or 'The Best Of...',or Good Rockin' Tonight, or whatever the other two should be. I can't comment on sound quality as I'm not going to bother listening, I'm just going to pack it back up and return it. If all 15 albums were there I might have just grudgingly kept it as it was so cheap, but they aren't so I'll pay more and get the RCA sets instead.
I'm not an Elvis fan as such, I just wanted to get to know his work better....and he deserves better than this !

I really have got to agree entirely with J.Kelly, with the fact of this set.the first thing I thought when I received this set was where is the 15 albums on only 10 CDs.And another thing they seem to have put the Elvis is Back album in the For Lp fans only cover I played the first album and could not come to grips with the distorted Blue suede Shoes overall very disappointed with this,I shall be more sceptical about this sort of package in the Future.once bitten twice shy.
