5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent upgrade... after this only an SSD comes close., 2 Jun. 2011
This review is from: Kingston Technology 8GB DDR3 1066MHz Apple Compatible Memory (for iMac units from 2009) (Personal Computers)
I upgraded my aluminium macbook late 2008 with this RAM. Passed from 4 to 8GB. And for the ones who had any doubt... yes, it works, and the performance boost is amazing, especially using lots of heavy apps.

Hi,

Thanks for the review. I have the same specs as you and was considering 8gb ram upgrade. However, I upgraded to Lion last month and was a bit hesitant about purchasing the Ram if it might not be accepted by Lion. Have you upgraded to Lion? Have you had any issues?

You should not have any issues as long as your Mac meets the spec.

Thanks for the details that you put up. I've since bought the RAM and upgraded!
