If you are spending a few bob travelling to far off places I think it is worth going prepared and knowing what is worth seeing, doing and eating! This book covers all the points. There is enough info in the book but not too much info that it becomes boring.
The inclusion of a map inside the back cover was very helpful.
We visited the natural park of Albufera on the journey back to Torrevieja and had it not been for this helpful guide book we would not have known about it. The village of El Palmar is very tranquil and a boat trip is money well spent.
There are useful walks detailed on the maps to give you an idea of where to go and what to do.
Although you can do lots of research about a place on t'internet before you go it is a bit difficult to log on when you're on the move so it's great to have a book in your pocket, which leads me to the only criticism. The book is the wrong shape for most pockets!
