Nice case for Seagate 500gb External Portable Usb 2.0 Hard Drive,
This review is from: Caselogic Small Hard Drive Case - Black (Electronics)I understand that this is a generic case for portable drivers, so I was wondering if it would fit well with my newly purchased Seagate 500gb External Portable Usb 2.0 Hard Drive.
After I read several reviews I decided to go for this one, especially since price was really tempting.
The outer side is strong, the whole case is larger than pocket size but thin and small enough to fit in any handbag or to simply hold it in your hand. It is solid and I can say with comfort that even if I drop it, the hard drive will be safe. So, as a stand-alone item, I would recommend it.
Particularly regarding its exact match of dimensions with Seagate 500gb External Portable Usb 2.0 Hard Drive and its spacious cord net, I would also highly recommend it for this specific hard drive. Regarding its match with other models or drives, you will probably have to search further :)

This "exact review" also connects with the "Caselogic Small Hard Drive Case, EVA Outer, Blue," with the dimensions of the case being 4.3 x 15.9 x 11.4 cm ; 113 g. The dimensions for this case are 9.4 x 14 x 4.3 cm ; 77 g. Therefore one of the reviews has to be incorrect. I bought a similar case and it made a lot more sense to store the hard drive in the mesh area and the cable behind the velcro strap

Hi Busy Bee. This review is for the:
Caselogic Small Hard Drive Case - Black
Amazon's annoying habit of connecting reviews of slightly different products is annoying - you click and follow the orange/brown underlined link below the review title and that will be the product the review is for [if the link doesn't work and the text is black, you are likely to be at the correct location of the original reviewed item]. As 'Frustrated' points out though, Amazon product details may simply be incorrect [and possibly both cases you mention are actually exactly the same size in two colours - it looks like it from the images].
