This DVD is different to the others Davina has brought out. It concentrates on interval training which is a short time of working out at 100% then a short rest, repeated over and over.
I have completed the cardio section of the workout twice and I did the toning one last night. I found the cardio section was similar to the Hannah Waterman DVD workout (which also features interval training). As usual Davina is lovely and chatty and it really motivates you to keep going. It's hard work but I was sweating loads after. It's also only 20 minutes long too, might not seem much but I was sweating more after 20 minutes of interval training than 30 minutes of normal aerobics.
The toning part of the DVD is also very good, Mark leads this one and you use weights, alongside some ab work at the end. There is also some high speed interval training. This workout is slightly longer at just under 25 minutes. This part of the DVD reminds me of Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred.
The warm up and cool down/stretches are great too.
Overall, a great workout DVD, gets you sweating and it's fun! I love interval training and would recommend it to others.
The only negative is that there are not enough workouts on the DVD, you have the cardio, the toning and the abs (alongside warm up and cool down). I wish there could be another cardio so you can mix it up a bit - I am afraid after a while I will get bored of doing the same routine over and over!
