sweet reading and happy baking,
This review is from: Sweet Paris: A Love Affair with Parisian Chocolate, Pastries and Desserts (Hardcover)Sweet Paris by Michael Paul is the first recipe book I have ever sat down and read cover to cover. That is because it it much more than just a recipe book. As well as containing delicious traditional french recipes, it also contains a lot of beautiful photography all sorts of interesting facts. Do you know who the patron saint of pastry chefs is? Or which classic French treat actually comes from Austria? Read Sweet Paris to find out.
The really nice thing about the recipes in this book is that they are time honoured classics, no gimmicks and twists. You won't need to go out and buy a lot of fancy new ingredients; there's not a sprinkle of edible glitter insight.
