This review is from: Midwinter of the Spirit (Merrily Watkins Mysteries Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
I've come to love Merrily Watkins, the vicar and deliverance minister who is also a single mum. She seems vulnerable, but willing to try new things and ready to overcome her weaknesses for the sake of others. The stories are full of tensions and cliff hangers, psychology, superstition, spirituality, history, Christianity make quite a potent brew. It's hard to stop reading until you get to the last page, and then you feel a little bereaft. To me that's how a good book should be. I recommend it.
