Tired and well past its best,
This review is from: Louis Jadot Combe aux Jacques Beaujolais Villages Beaujolais 2014 75 cl (Case of 6) (Wine)
Fresh is not a word that I would use in any context to describe this wine. It certainly has a unique flavour, difficult to describe, but sour and slightly off would be my description. This wine is stopped with a composition cork which is of good quality. Unfortunately what is held in the bottle is not to my taste. Perhaps its the vine or the cork or my palate but the French have been making wine long enough to do much better than this. I have far better wines in my rack of a comparable price. My 'Louis Jadot 2011 Combe Aux Jacques Beaujolais - Villages' has been put on the cooking shelf.
