Struck with boredom,
This review is from: Struck (Paperback)I got this book as I thought it was a very interesting premise with the main character, Mia, having a connection to lightning and an affection for being struck by it.
The book happens over 3 days and in this time, Mia falls madly in love (quite unbelievable) and the saviour of the world. The story felt rushed where it should have been slowed down and vice versa.
The characters were not likeable and the secondary characters were one dimensional. Certain elements of the story seemed like I had read them in other books.
Although interesting enough to finish, I would not rush out for the next one.
