OK, but not great,
This review is from: PRIMAL Origin (Kindle Edition)
The author claims to have a background in Military Intelligence, Counter-Intelligence and Special Operations. I'm inclined to believe the claim, partly because it feels like the author has written a story based on what he'd like to see happen. I dare say every intelligence operative in the world would like the chance to work without rules, to be able to kill the people they know are guilty without having to find concrete evidence, etc. This book feels like the author has taken that desire and written a story about it happening.
The blurb talks about similarities with Tom Clancy, and I'm inclined to agree. Unfortunately, I see similarities with Clancy's later books, which I enjoyed less than his earlier works.
It's an OK short story, but nothing more.
