Caters for all your chemistry needs,

This review is from: Collins Advanced Science - Chemistry (Paperback)
An A level text book of the highest calibre , this book covers all neccassary topics with particular reference to practical experiments and industrial practices. Although this book could be considered light on pages and carries a hefty price tag I have found no better course companion. The information is presented in a lively and interesting manner making even the most boring of topics a palatable chemistry experience.

D. Gallimore says:
624 pages - you call that light?

I agree! What on earth do they call heavy on pages?! I doubt you'll get an answer off them now, because I think their account is deleted. No username above the review probably means that they requested that their account be deleted.

For a complete A level course, 600 pages is quite light. When I took A level, my inorganic chemistry textbook was approximately 800 pages, as was my organic one. How revision guides can claim to fit the modern course into about 100 pages is a mystery to me...
