This review is from: Diener & Diener (Hardcover)with this being the only monograph on the work of Diener & Diener one would expect a fine and exhaustive retrospective on their work. But this is not the case. Projects are presented briskly, featured texts are in font size 16, and Roger Diener's own comment on each project is limited to 5 lines. the graphic design of the book is very very poor, it lacks consistency, and it really feelsl like the book has been put together in a real rush, which is shocking considering the reputation of the publishing house.
Having said so, the minimum required info on each built project is there (plans, sections, sketches, some photos etc) but don't expect much more. (competition project are in some cases presented with a single plan and one rendering).
My advice would be to buy this book only if given a good discount. retail price is definitely too high for what it has to offer.
