So bad it's good,
This review is from: Plan 9 From Outer Space (Digitally remastered in colour) [DVD] (DVD)
How do you review a film which is universally panned as being the worst film ever made? Well it's obvious, you must tell it like it is. Actually it isn't that obvious at all. Yes, this is a truly awful film created by people who clearly had no idea what they were doing, but the irony of ironies is that all that incompetence and earnest endeavour makes this an unintentional comedy classic.

Mr. D. Bain says:
How right you are Natatores a five star cinematic wonder. In Mel Brookes film 'The Producers' the two lead protagonists set out to stage the worst play ever made, something so absolutely terrible that it would close on it's opening night. Although Ed Wood's intentions were very different, he set out to make a GOOD film, in both cases a hilarious and successful work of art was created. This film is so unbelievably badly made that it is unintentionally hilarious. It plays out like a science fiction version of 'Acorn Antiques'. Everything about it is wrong, the dialogue is mind numbingly bad as is the acting, scriptwriting, camerawork, continuity, editing and props. All in all one of the most entertaining films I have ever watched.
