I'd been hunting around for a headset in order to maximise The Rosetta Stone language software. For me the choice was better for USB as the microphone socket for the PC is at the back of the unit and obscured by the morass of cables. This set was well priced and the USB connectivity meant it would plug into one of the sockets on the front of the PC, meaning no disruption. being an XP luddite I was worried if it would be auto-detected but I needn't have worried as the system picked the headset up perfectly. The headset is very comfortable, with a decent length lead and sturdy build. You could easily wear the thing for hours with no discomfort. Sound quality for speech is more than adequate and the microphone seems to pick my voice up for the software with no issues, however for music it was less suitable, especially if you like it a little louder as distortion does set in quite quickly. Overall though a very decent set of phones for a very good price.
