5.0 out of 5 stars Level the score..., 2 July 2009
This review is from: Oscar Got the Blame (Red Fox Picture Books) (Paperback)
I do apologise for what amounts to a review that is as much about levelling the score as it is talking about a book, but...

This is a children's book, its fun and colourful, comical and entertaining! If that sounds like the kind of thing your child will like - then try this book! The illustrations are lovely, as is the story - and its something you can have a laugh and a joke about with your child! ('Oh, are you sure you ate all your dinner? Are you sure Billy didn't help you?" - you get the kind of thing, you're no doubt a parent or close relative or friend)

And finally - I felt compelled to post this to redress the balance upset caused by the reviewer before this - who may or may not be a moron?
Oh look, you've managed to intentionally mis-interpret the theme of a children's story to make it seem vaguely sinister! What a clever boy you are! Yes you are! Yes you are...

Excuse me while I bask in your hilarious jibe at an innocent story.

Ok, I'm done.

I was horrified to see that somebody had given this wonderful book 1 star (though slightly consoled when I realised that the reviewer was clearly a half wit), and found myself cheering after reading your rebuttal.

Well said that man (or woman).
