I really enjoyed this audio story with its creepy setting in 1930s Brighton. It's a solid and dependable Earthbound mystery, which makes a change from some of the more exotic and frankly 'jargony' Big Finish audios of recent months.
Colin Baker - definitely the best audio Doctor - is on song again, as he investigates the horrible noises and eerie lights coming from somewhere under Brighton pier. With the great Roy Hudd playing music hall legend Max Miller, this is a real treat - plus it has zombies! What more could you ask for? The only fly in the ointment is the increasingly irritating sexegenarian currently hanging out with The Doctor (Evelyn Smythe) but this aside it is a fine audio with a top-notch cast firing on all cylinders.
