Great Telescope of first timers onwards,
This review is from: SkyWatcher Skyliner-200P/1200 Classic Telescope (Electronics)
This is a great machine - taking it out of the box it looks like you spent 5000 on it you may need to prove just how good the value was to your other half. Jupitor comes up magic, just today I was looking at the rings of saturn. The orion nebula comes up excelent.
Dont worry about light polution as I am in a city and some night I look up with the naked eye and cant see anything - looking through the telescope and bang the universe is your ostyer.

Hi Richard, I live in a city with quite poor light pollution and was interested in your comments. Were you still able to view objects well despite having street lights nearby?

paul i live in or near the city with street lights and you can view quite good . just make sure your scope doesnt point directly to any light fixtures as you will get some interference with views so if you can change angle or position of the scope where you can.
