A decent toy, not great for walking,
This review is from: VTech Baby First Steps Baby Walker (Baby Product)
I bought this for my son who is 9 months old and has just started to pull himself to standing on all the furniture, so is ready to start learning to walk. I'm afraid that he will never be able to use this as an aid to learning to walk, as it is just too flimsy as other reviewers have said. I hope he will walk with it when he has already learnt how to walk. I have now bought him a separate traditional wooden baby walker (with blocks) as I have seen one in action and they are much sturdier.
Other than this he does like to use all the buttons and keys on the front panel. However I do find it annoying that there is a long musical intro whenever it is switched on, and then it cycles through various tunes with very little gap in between. It would be great if it could have a separate mode where the tunes are only played when the buttons are pressed to activate them. I have to keep turning it off when my son diverts his attention to the TV as he can't hear it otherwise (even the quieter mode is rather loud). Also these tunes interfere with the keyboard sounds - when my son presses the keys, I'd like it if only the keys he is pressing could be heard!
