This book is a must read!!!,
This review is from: The Girl on the Cliff (Paperback)
From the very start i could not put this book down!
The story takes you through generations of two families the Lisle's and the Ryan's past and present and how their lives become entangled together through time.
Troubled Grania Ryan returns home to Ireland and meets the enchanting Aurora Devonshire, this is to unfold story after story of times past as her mother opens the door to times gone by.
You become so attached to the characters as they are so beautifully brought to life by Lucinda Riley.
the storys of mary and sean war time london where she becomes nursemaid to Anna and the bond that happens between mary and the child.
The bond between Aurora and Grania and the inner turmoil they are going through for different reasons bringing then so close together. Aurora is an old soul in a small body causing all who meet her to love her! and as the reader you cannot help to become captivated by her and the story that surrounds her life.
The story of Matt Grania's boyfriend left behind in New york trying to figure out why his life has fallen apart since Grania's sudden leaving.
page after page keeps you griped!
This book for me was a roller coaster of emotions even at times causing a few tears. I utterly loved reading this book and i feel sad to leave these characters behind as i so enjoyed getting to know them.
There are still some questions still left unanswered for me but with every book there always will be as you have to end the story somewhere.
well done Lucinda Riley! i shall without doubt be reading the others.
