An essential reference guide,
This review is from: Key Performance Indicators (KPI): The 75 Measures Every Manager Needs to Know (Financial Times Series) (Paperback)
This book is an invaluable reference book for all organisations seeking to develop their performance reporting. Bernard makes the point upfront that the choice of performance measures needs to be governed by each organisation's own strategy and that each KPI has to address a key performance question - but nevertheless there is a huge advantage in accessing this book to identify the art of the possible and to understand what others are doing. The format is clear and well laid out and the "tips/warnings" section for each KPI generally contains sound advice. I am totally confident that anyone leading a scorecard or performance reporting project will find nuggets in the book that repay their investment many times over.
