A wealth of recipes to suit any palette,
This review is from: The Classic 1000 Quick and Easy Recipes (Paperback)
Well where to begin? First of all this recipe book follows the same suit as many others where as it is simply split down into ingredient type, meat dishes are covered first, then vegetable, the book then goes into sauces, salads starters and deserts. I also found the comprehensive index at the rear a perfect example of a well laid out recipe book.
I doubt everyone will find a purpose for every recipe included in the book however it gives the reader the opportunity to create a perfect 3 course meal for two or if they are entertaining a few guests. It is also perfect for cooking in a small kitchen as every recipe can be used to create large portions without needing a huge amount of workspace like traditional recipes do.
I would recommend this book for anyone, students, someone who is new to cooking, an experienced cook looking to try new ideas and working mums who are on the go as the recipes are easy to double up without loosing flavour from the dishes.
The recipes are also easily adaptable, quantities can be easily increased and items substituted for others if this is necessary.
