Brilliant children's book for spotting things and talking about them,

This review is from: Benedict Blathwayt's In the Town (Paperback)
It's a simple idea - panoramic scenes of town life, with masses of tiny detail to notice and talk about with toddlers. There's a market, a port, a park and so on, each with a range of things to find in a column on the right. But once you've found all those, there are hundreds more things to see, from the squirrel stealing biscuits in the park to the tiny fire engine attending a fire away in the background.
This is a book to come back to again and again. Why it's no longer in print is a mystery to me, so snap it up while you can.
