This review is from: Lonely Planet Georgia, Armenia & Azerbaijan (Travel Guide) (Kindle Edition)
Print version has very few pictures, and the ones there are don't seem up to usual standard. With it being the June 2012 edition hot off the press, I hoped it would have up to date info on visas etc for Azerbaijan but its sketchy.
Also, in each of the three country sections, the Currency conversion is from £$ into Georgian Lari, every time, instead of Manat and Dram for Azerbaijan and Armenia. OK, its a little thing that you can soon find online, but still it doesn't do much for faith in the product and proof-reading.
And for a region with 3 very different languages and 4 different alphabets, the language section is unduly sparse - could've done with transliteration of Armenian and Georgian alphabets for a start.
I'm loyal to Lonely Planet because it's familiar and generally the best IMO, but this one is a bit disappointing I'm afraid. We'll see how the road test goes in Autumn.
