4 STARS FOR THE PRODUCT.....ZERO.....FOR THE LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE
I purchased one of the exact same stands 6 months ago, so reading the reviews and laughing to myself, I can completely understand where you are all coming from with regards the " confusing instructions" and having to go back over them several times or more, it took my son and I flying tempers and two hours to erect the thing, this time around it only took us to get a little bit hot under the collar and 35 minutes...record breaking time.
This stand is very modern, smart and sturdy and inexpensive like others I've seen and not as good quality, so all in all and putting aside the lack of instructions I have to give this a four star.
As for Duronic themselves...this is another story.
* Paid for express deliver to reach us before my sons 18th birthday as this was to be a part of the 18th surprise entertainment set up, it did arrive on time but Duronics error...they sent the wrong colour stand.
* Sent email via Amazon as there would have been enough time to get the correct colour stand before the birthday, WRONG, Duronic take 24 hours to reply to all emails, even Amazon customer care sent an urgent email but did not get any reply.
* 24 hours later Duronic sent a standard email to ask if I would like the correct stand sent out the following day, I replied immediately but as they have a 24 hour reply policy my email did not get picked up until 24 hours later, another wasted day, also as my email was picked up after 2pm all orders for the following day are to be place before 12pm another day wasted and my sons 18th the following day, I sent another email to say how appalled I was with the whole matter and the 24 hour reply policy, I also requested a refund of the express delivery charges, they reply got was that the silver stand was being collect on Monday but no mention of the refund. (I took I no silver stand returned, no refund given, the cheek that they assumed I was going to wait around yet again for them to collect "their error".
* The correct stand arrived Saturday afternoon 2 day after the birthday the incorrect delivery was in my hallway until Monday afternoon, came home for my lunch break and passed a City Link van knocking on a neighbours door, I recognised the driver as the one who delivered the stands, DURONIC HAD NOW GIVEN THEM THE WRONG HOUSE NUMBER IN ORDER TO PICK UP THE SILVER STAND to insult me even more they refund £6 delivery charge. Shame on you Duronic
I does state in tips and guidelines "Don't describe your seller or delivery experience as this can be do at amazon.co.uk/feedback" but I did not notice this until 24 hours after my review...I am not perfect and I do make mistakes...just like Duroinc
